Can I wear the same contacts that I wore when I had pink eye?

I currently have pink eye in one of my eyes, and I have not been able to see for 2 days because I don't want to wear my new contacts when I have pink eye. Would it be okay to wear my contacts if my pink eye is clearing up if I disinfect them?!
