The organisational chart shows the chain of command so the higher up the organisation chart, the high up the chain of command you are. The organisational chart also shows who a person is in charge of by showing who is directly below them. An example of this would be if you had a Managing Director at the top, below him a Sales Coordinator and a Marketing Manager and below the Sales Coordinator a Sales Team. This would show that the Managing Director is in charge of the Sales Coordinator and the Marketing Manager. It would also show that the Sales Coordinator is in charge of the Sales Team. The Marketing manager, however, is not in charge of the Sales Team.
