Does this sound like a bad idea?

Yes, I have also done it and i don't recomment it.I once drove all the way to Las Vegas from Sacramento without sleeping all night. I was trying hard to keep my eyes open. My heart was beating kinda fast because i was so tired and i was nervous that i was scared about falling asleep. My friend who was with me noticed i was driving kinda slow. I was going about 45 mph on the freeway. I didn't notice since i was extremely tired. It is extremely dangerous not just for you but other drivers too.
