I need some help. i dunno what to do.?

well first HAPPY NEW YEAR ! okay well at about 8 i got a call from my well. ex boyfriend now. and yeh we broke up. and then i called him to wish him a happy new year. and i found out he is with his ex, kelsey. and now were talking again. i mean we've been together since augest on and off 7 time 2 to 3 weeks each. once a month. anddd like ugh i love him to death. and now i dont kno what to do. he says he'll break up with kelsey to get back with me & i really love him. ALOT and i really would get back with him. but i dunno if i should. and before yall say "leave him hes a jerk anyways" i just need yu to think about like that first time yu were in love. what would yu do ?
