Laws of jihad of a husband?

can a man leave his wife with nothing to go do jihad? can he leave her with no money, nothing? what if she wants a child and that is the only thing she had asked for in the whole marriage can he just leave with out giving her what she wants? so if the man leaves knowing the wife is not going to sirvive financially is it wrong for him to leave at that moment? i need proof of your exact findings, where did u find the answers?
