Greek Famous Firsts??

I need one more Greek famous first for an english project. By Greek famous first, I mean a person (REAL, not mythological) who was the first ever, or first in the western world, who did something. I already have Hippocrates(physician), Thespis(actor), Herodotus(historian), Aristotle(philosopher), Homer(poet), and Pythagoras(mathmatician).
