Is the letter to Tiberius Caesar from Pontius Pilate describing the physical appearance of Jesus real?

Hmmmmmm, I wonder why Pilate questined Jesus so at his trial. His questions were directed at someone he had never seen before. And if there was such a difference in appearence, why did the Roman soldiers need some one to point jesus out. Your letter is bogus.
